Seeing is believing. This old adage cannot be better experienced than attending the graduation ceremony of WAVE workshops. It is miraculous to see children perform amazing academic feats within 3 days of training. They are able to apply the memory and mind science principles and other super learning methods and wisdom principles to master skills that are generally acquired after several months of rigorous training and application and performed only by the ‘gifted and talented’ children. Our belief is that every child is gifted and talented and has inherent potential that only needs the right tools and resources to unleash and manifest that potential. Alpha meditation Technique

In this video, you are watching children learning simple meditation techniques that not only makes them aware of how their mind wanders everywhere, but also how to bring it back into the present moment and increase their focus and concentration.

Periodic Table Recall Demo

This is an 8th grader from Denver, USA demonstrating the application of Super Learning Methods that he learned in WAVE workshop to recall first 50 elements of the Periodic table. This and many such feats can be accomplished within one day of training and application. What you are witnessing here is one of many applications of the memory and mind science techniques children learn in the 4-days workshop. The fundamental principles they learn in the workshop equips them with a skill that can be applied to learn things that are relevant to their academics and other fact-based learning requirements such as preparing for SAT, ACT tests and anywhere they need to absorb, retain and recall information in a timely manner.

In the WAVE workshop and follow-up sessions, participants learn the art of learning that can be applied to learn any topic of any subject. These techniques and super learning methods accelerate learning and help the learning process a joyful experience as well.

Random object Recall Demo

In this demonstration, audience gives 20 random objects in 2 to 3 minutes. These objects are written on a whiteboard. Children apply the memory & mind science principles they learned during the workshop and within few minutes recall these random objects, forward 1 to 20, backward 20 to 1 and random recall i.e. audience asks an object and the child tells what number it is on or audience tells a number and the child tells what object is on that number. All this is done with a sense of confidence, calmness with no stress, anxiety or nervousness.

Experiential Learning

Almost all of us learn better by doing instead of learning through theory. Many of problem solving techniques or approaches do not work as effectively if they are not actually experienced in real life situations or simulated environments. Many deeper insights can be learned through games and experiential activities and exercises that teach us how things really work or how problems can be solved by making a subtle change in our viewpoint to look at things differently.

Every child has inherent hidden potential that may manifest in different ways and in some cases, may stay dormant if not harnessed. But the fact remains that every child is capable of achieving great feats. There are no ordinary students and genius students. They are all the same. The only thing they need are tools, resources and a well-structured training to awaken the genius in them. They need teachers and parents that believe in them and provide a platform for them to tap into their potential and express themselves freely.

One Picture is worth a thousand words and one short video is worth a thousand pictures.

Mind map is a super learning method that replaces a lot of grunt work with smart and effective work. Mind map has the potential to replace the conventional methods used to describe a topic in a book. So, instead of pages filled with text, the books of future would have colorful mind maps that would be used to articulate the essence of the book.

Mind map method of learning aligns with the way our brain naturally likes to absorb and process information i.e. visually and in colors. Maps map leads to higher productivity, better absorption, retention and recall of large volumes of information. Among hundreds of applications of memory and mind science techniques is the ability to absorb, retain and recall important academic topics that help you score well in competitive tests such as SAT, ACT, CLT etc. In a fun filled way, high school students applied the memory techniques and the optimal use of right brain techniques to memorize and recall within an hour, the top 66 words that appeared on the SAT tests in the last 5 years. The same techniques can be used to master other academic topics and give the child a competitive advantage and high level of confidence.
